For those who will attend the opening ceremony of 11WCES: Please take your photo ID (e.g. passport) with you and present when you pick up your congress materials at the registration desk. Without your photo ID, you may be refused to enter the venue of opening ceremony. In case of you pick up the materials on September 1, you need to visit the registration desk on September 2 again to pick up a pass for the opening ceremony.

1) IFSES (International Federation of Societies of Endoscopic Surgeons) Member Societies: SAGES, CAGS, ALACE, FELAC, ELSA, JSES, CSLES, IAGES, EAES and GSA.
2) Resident/Trainee must be within 5 years of graduating from a medical school and is required to present an official letter proving such status (signed by one’s immediate superior) at the registration desk.
3) Medical Professional (Non-doctor) means a nurse, a technician and others working for a medical institution, but not a person working for a commercial supplier in the industry. An official certificate or a letter signed by one’s immediate superior must be present at the registration desk to prove such status.
4) Student participant is required to present a copy of student ID/an official letter proving status at the registration desk.
5) Accompanying Person must be a spouse or a family member of the registered delegate.
Registration Fee for IFSES Member / Non-member / Resident / Trainee / Medical Professional / Student will include a Congress program/abstract book, entry to Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception and Yokohama Night (banquet).
Registration Fee for Accompanying Person will include entry to Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception, Yokohama Night (banquet).

Additional Abstract Submission/Registration Fees for ELSA2008:

IFSES Member/Non-Member 10,000 JPY
Resident/Trainee/Medical Professional 5,000 JPY

(in addition to above WCES Registration Fees)


Above fees are required if you wish to:
*submit abstract to ELSA2008 (Fees will be automatically charged on-line.)
*obtain an ELSA2008 congress kit including abstract book and program
*attend social programs of ELSA2008.

Registrants of the11th World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery will have access to ELSA2008 session rooms free-of-charge.

Payment Method:

Payment must be made in JPY (Japanese Yen) by Cash or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB, Diners). No other type of payment will be accepted.

Cancellation:

Cancellation must be made by informing Congress Registration Desk in writing either by letter, fax or e-mail. The amount of refund will depend on the date of cancellation, as follows:

Cancellations Received by Noon (JST), July 1, 2008: 50% of the Total Amount Paid Cancellations Received after Noon (JST), July 1, 2008:No Refund
Please note that all refunds will be made after the Congress. Transfer charges for cancellation refunds must be covered by participants/applicants.
